Director of client services
The director of client services ensures the healthy management of our client relationships. Whether it’s providing the client with strategy, supporting creative and strategic planning, or inspiring the team with a sense of leadership, this person plays a key role in our agency and its growth.
- Develop and maintain trusting relationships with clients and help them better understand the strategic drive behind their marketing communications projects
- Identify business opportunities for our group of clients
- Understand and address the unique business challenges faced by our clients
Responsibilities
- Participate in the analysis of a client’s business and communications challenges and in the drafting of recommendations
- Supervise project management, timelines and budgets, all the while actively contributing to the agency’s organizational growth
- Participate in yearly planning for all clients
- Identify the resources needed for each project
- Support and supervise the team managing multidisciplinary projects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or another related field
- At least 8 years of experience in client services for an agency
- Demonstrated ability in managing multi-platform projects
- Experienced in digital, electronic, radio and printed production
- Strong understanding of social media environments
- Able to communicate in French and English, written and spoken
- Experience with national accounts, an asset
- Positive attitude and a good sense of humour
- Motivated to participate actively in agency life

Strategist
Answering directly to the Vice President of Strategy, the strategist plays an important role in our agency by ensuring the relevance and effectiveness of strategic orientations for our marketing communications solutions.
Responsibilities
- Determine the client’s business objectives and propose communications strategies that address those needs
- Draft recommendations for communications, platforms, functionalities, content and promotional marketing. However, a strategist doesn’t just think in terms of channels. You have to put the human at the heart of everything we do.
- Collaborate with the client services team to develop creative solutions that will help our clients stand out in their fields
- Develop and implement 360-degree strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or another related field
- At least 5 years of experience as a strategist for agencies
- Demonstrated ability in managing multi-platform projects
- Able to communicate in French and English, written and spoken
- Experience with national accounts, an asset

UX designer
The Havas Montréal team is looking for a passionate UX designer to help us develop web projects, mobile technologies and innovative digital experiences. The ideal candidate possesses three years of experience in the field and knows how a full-service communications agency works. This candidate also excels in information architecture, user experience, web ergonomics and has strong analytical skills.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to technological analysis and addressing business needs
- Build information architecture
- Design original user interfaces on different platforms
- Develop mock-ups and functional prototypes
- Design and conduct user tests
- Ensure monitoring of technologies and ongoing knowledge training
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in interactive design, ergonomics and website architecture
- University training in graphic design, interactive design, cognitive science or another related subject, or equivalent professional experience
- Agency experience, an asset
- Able to use Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
- Able to use Sketch and InVision
- Able to use Axure
- Able to communicate in French and English, written and spoken
