Once again, the excellent magazine Infopresse has asked me to illustrate the latest industry news and this past month was intense! Apple launched its new operating system, as well as two new iPhone models. At about the same time, Google announced Android 4.4. In fact, have you ever noticed that Android OS names follow the alphabet? After Cupcake, Donut, Eclair, Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb, Ice Cream Sandwich, Jelly Bean, they’ve announced Kitkat!
Other big industry moves include Microsoft’s partial acquisition of Nokia, Skype’s 10-year anniversary and the launch of Google Street View Zoo. In keeping with the zoo theme, I also encourage you to follow @zootweetslive, tweets “by” the badger at the Johannesburg zoo. He’s got a real flair for “selfies”!
