TP1 opens its doors to the public

This weekend, creative people all over the city will be opening their studios to the public as part of the Design Montreal Open House 2013 (PODMTL). Participants include architects, landscape architects, graphic designers, industrial designers, interior designers, fashion designers and urban designers. It’s a golden opportunity to ask talented people about their process and recent projects, as well as share your own work and ideas.

This year, digital agency TP1 will also be participating for the first time. On Sunday, we’ll be presenting three projects that we’re currently working on: a campaign for the 2013 St-Ambroise Montreal FRINGE festival, a new web and mobile platform for the STM, and a campaign for the redesigned Algorithme Pharma website. Come on down to meet our artists, learn more about how a web agency works or even just to say hello!.

For the occasion, we also have two activities planned: a typographic performance by the Garbage Beauty collective and an activity for the younger set that involves playing with our giant pixelier.

Garbage Beauty

Founded in 2011, Garbage Beauty wanders the streets of Montreal looking for garbage that they can adorn with poetic calligraphy messages. You may have noticed their work around the city.

During the PODMTL event, they’ll be attacking the walls of our agency! It’s a first for this talented group and we’re looking forward to having the walls that usually separate us bring us together in a creative way.

To get a taste before Sunday, go visit their very inspired Instagram account here: Garbage Beauty.
